Training Prerequisites

Step 1: Review the State Health & Human Services page. Return the Attestation of Completion page to training@apaarecovery.org.

Step 2: Register for the 3-day Core Training (required before registering for the RSPS or MHPS class.

Step 3: Register for the 40-hour RSPS or MHPS Training.

Approved State of Texas Training for Peer Specialist Certification

Incomplete applications will not be considered.

DEADLINE: Registrations must be received within 4 business days of the training start date.

LOCATIONS: Some trainings are held via Zoom while others are held in-person. In-Person trainings are held at the APAA MLK & Malcolm X location: 2800 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., Dallas, Texas 75215.
