Health, wellness and recovery - that’s what we’re about. We aren’t a treatment provider - our operational model is peer-driven and peer-led, meaning 100% of APAA recovery specialists have lived experience with substance use and/or mental health challenges.

PEER SUPPORT

APAA offers culturally congruent recovery support for mental health, co-occurring, and substance use challenges. Support is 100% peer-centered and peer-led.

support groups

Each person's recovery journey is unique, and support groups are designed to accommodate various paths of recovery. APAA offers more than 160 free recovery support groups each month. Meetings are led by peer recovery support specialists who have first-hand experience and understand what you're going through.

training & Development

APAA offers training and professional development courses to reinforce industry standards. With a focus on actualizing recovery principles, our curriculum powerfully enhances the daily practice of all behavioral health professionals, igniting hope for transformative outcomes in the field.
